Mount Moriah School
In 2016 while working with the Minister and Session of Chipagala we discovered we all had the same vision to establish a small fee-paying school in the village, using rooms in the Sunday school building. In three weeks while we were there the contractors finished the classrooms and we bought the desks and supplies. The school opened with 23 students and two teachers. They struggled for the first year but now have over 100 students including a nursery department which will act as a feeder for the school. Timvane has now started a similar school which is not fee-paying because there are so many orphans and vulnerable children in the village.
