NSJ procedures are reviewed on an annual basis to ensure compliance. Police Vulnerable Sector Checks for volunteers are renewed every five years and new volunteers are requested to obtain checks as required. The concern for the safety and security of the congregation and staff is reflected in our emergency procedures document and training is provided when required. An annual fire drill (held at the end of a church service in the fall) further ensures that we are able to evacuate the facility in an orderly and safe fashion.
